IT Technical Lead
About the Role
Our client, an established international manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced IT Technical Lead to oversee plant-wide technology operations at their advanced production facility in Rayong. In this role, you will act as the site’s primary IT authority, bridging operational shop-floor systems with modern enterprise infrastructure to guarantee high availability and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain on-site IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers (VMware/Hyper-V), network architecture (LAN/WAN/VLAN, Wi-Fi), and firewalls.
- Serve as technical lead for core manufacturing systems (ERP, production tracking, inventory, MS SQL/Access databases), overseeing administration, integrations, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Maintain cybersecurity protocols, endpoint protection, and disaster recovery (DR) plans in accordance with global IT standards and ISO compliance.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for workstations, industrial PCs, shop-floor terminals, and peripheral devices to minimize production downtime.
- Oversee IT asset lifecycles, vendor SLAs, software licensing, and collaborate with engineering teams on digital transformation and automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including 2–3+ years in a senior or technical lead capacity within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical expertise across Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, network administration (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs), and enterprise ERP/database support.
- Professional working proficiency in English and fluent Thai for cross-functional collaboration and global reporting.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Rayong.
Nice to Have
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL.
- Hands-on familiarity with shop-floor IoT devices and ISO 9001 compliance standards.
