About the Role
Our client is an established international manufacturer of high-performance safety and protective equipment utilizing advanced composite technologies. Located in Rayong, they are seeking an experienced Senior QC Supervisor to lead plant-wide quality control operations, champion product integrity, and oversee an active inspection team in a safety-critical production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and mentor the operational QC inspection team across all shifts, defining daily priorities and sampling protocols.
- Inspection & Auditing: Oversee incoming raw material inspections and in-process quality audits (dimensional, weight, and thickness) across composite fabrication, finishing, and assembly lines.
- Quality Discipline: Partner with production and process engineering to enforce shop-floor quarantine controls and make definitive accept/reject decisions to stop defect migration.
- Problem Solving: Spearhead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D investigations, and CAPA initiatives to address internal non-conformities, production fallout, and customer feedback.
- Testing & Calibration: Oversee precision measurement tools, optical instruments, and impact testing equipment while tracking defect trends and quality KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Polymer/Composite Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of progressive quality control experience in manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior lead role.
- Proven background in composite materials (carbon fiber, fiberglass, resins), plastic molding, automotive components, or safety products.
- Solid practical mastery of ISO 9001:2015, Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D reporting, and CAPA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools and testing apparatus, supported by proficient technical English skills for reporting.
