About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and technically skilled NPI Engineer on behalf of a leading international manufacturing facility based in the Rayong area. Operating under BOI privileges and international quality standards, our client is an established global manufacturer of high-performance composite protective products.
In this role, you will act as the crucial technical link between international R&D teams and mass production, transitioning cutting-edge composite designs from initial concept to high-volume manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead trial production and industrialization phases for new composite product lines, optimizing molding cycle times, curing parameters, and composite lay-ups for serial production.
- Establish and maintain manufacturing master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Develop and validate APQP and PPAP deliverables, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
- Partner with tooling teams to design, inspect, and approve composite molds, trimming fixtures, assembly jigs, and testing gauges.
- Drive root-cause problem solving (using 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) to resolve line defects, dimensional variances, and cosmetic flaws during trial runs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrialization within discrete manufacturing.
- Hands-on knowledge of composite manufacturing processes (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass, resin systems, lay-up, compression molding).
- Strong working knowledge of core quality tools, particularly PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) with the ability to interpret 2D/3D technical drawings and GD&T.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: 40,000 – 50,000 THB per month.
- Full-time, permanent direct-hire position.
- The opportunity to work with an established international organization specializing in advanced composite manufacturing.
