About the Role
Our client is a leading, BOI-promoted global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider. Operating from a state-of-the-art, recently expanded flagship facility in Samut Prakan, they specialize in high-mix, low-to-medium volume EMS, including SMT & THT assembly, complex box-build systems, cable-harnessing, and mechatronics.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Sourcing Engineer to join their procurement and supply chain team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this vital role, you will act as a key bridge between engineering, quality, and global suppliers, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality compliance, and seamless material sourcing for complex electronics and box-build projects.

- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- BOM & Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling to identify cost-reduction opportunities for complex electronics assemblies.
- NPI Sourcing: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) sourcing by identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers that align with technical and capacity requirements.
- Supplier Development: Collaborate with existing suppliers to enhance their capabilities, driving continuous improvement in product quality, lead times, and cost-effectiveness.
- Auditing & Quality Compliance: Participate in supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure strict compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and international standards.
- Contract & Price Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with local and international suppliers to secure optimal value and supply security.
- Lifecycle & Obsolescence Management: Manage Product Change Notifications (PCN), End-of-Life (EOL) components, and obsolescence risks to safeguard production continuity.
- System Maintenance: Utilize ERP and supply chain software to maintain accurate supplier databases, track performance metrics, and manage sourcing documentation.
- Bilingual Liaison: Provide fluent English and Thai communication support to align local engineering requirements with global supplier capabilities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2–4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development, specifically within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or high-tech manufacturing environment.
