Sales & Tendering Engineer - Power Distribution

Specializing in high-performance medium and low voltage switchgear, ring main units (RMUs), grid automation, and monitoring technologies, they are deeply committed to driving the transition to sustainable energy through digital innovation and SF6-free technologies.
In this Sales and Tendering role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering capabilities and commercial operations. Based in the Bangkok commercial office, you will translate complex technical requirements for switchgear, RMUs, and grid automation systems into highly competitive, profitable commercial proposals. You will collaborate closely with the manufacturing plant in Rayong and regional engineering teams to review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), estimate costs, and manage the tendering process for major utility tenders and private industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Proposal Preparation: Develop comprehensive, high-quality technical and commercial proposals for medium and low voltage switchgear, Ring Main Units (RMUs), and grid automation solutions tailored to client specifications.
- Cost Estimation & Pricing: Conduct detailed cost estimations, analyzing material costs, manufacturing inputs, and logistics to establish competitive and profitable pricing structures.
- SLD Interpretation: Analyze and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, and technical specifications provided by utilities and private developers to determine the correct product configurations.
- Tender & Contract Review: Lead the review of tender documents, commercial terms, and contract conditions to identify risks, ensure compliance with local regulations, and align with corporate commercial policies.
- Sales Pipeline & CRM Management: Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM and ERP/tendering software, tracking bid statuses from initial inquiry through to contract award.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners, acting as a primary technical-commercial point of contact during the bidding phase.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with production and engineering teams at the manufacturing plant to ensure technical feasibility, accurate lead times, and alignment on custom engineering requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
