IT Programmer
About the Role
Our client, an established multinational manufacturer based in Rayong, is seeking an ambitious IT Programmer to join their Information & Communication Technology team. In this role, you will develop, modernize, and maintain enterprise web applications, shop-floor tracking tools, and database systems, serving as a key link between digital solutions and physical plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Web & Systems Development: Design, code, and deploy robust backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces for internal operations, production monitoring, inventory tracking, and administrative workflows.
- ERP & Systems Integration: Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and connectors to integrate internal applications with plant ERP, Bill of Materials (BOM), and quality control systems.
- Database Management: Design and optimize relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL), writing complex stored procedures and queries for real-time data logging and reporting.
- Shop-Floor Connectivity: Develop secure API interfaces connecting shop-floor hardware, barcode/RFID tracking devices, and third-party manufacturing software.
- Testing & Application Support: Collaborate with cross-functional operational teams to gather requirements, manage source code via Git, perform testing, and provide ongoing application support.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of software development experience (full-stack, backend, or application development), preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Tech Stack: Hands-on proficiency in backend languages/frameworks (such as C#/.NET, PHP/Laravel, Node.js, Python, or Java) and modern frontend tools (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js, React, or Bootstrap).
- Databases & APIs: Solid experience in relational database design, SQL querying, and RESTful API development.
- Location: Ability to work on-site in Rayong.
