We are seeking a strategic and technically minded Business Development Manager to join their commercial team in Bangkok. In this pivotal role, you will drive B2B sales and market expansion for advanced power distribution solutions across Thailand and the wider ASEAN region. This role bridges technical engineering with commercial execution. You will champion a cutting-edge product portfolio—including RMUs, Load Break Switches, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and emerging SF6-free switchgear—while managing high-value utility relationships and collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to deliver sustainable, customized energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic B2B Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities for MV/LV switchgear, RMUs, and grid automation solutions within the Thai utility, industrial, and commercial sectors.
- Utility & Government Relations: Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key decision-makers at major Thai utilities (MEA, PEA, EGAT) and government bodies to secure tenders and influence technical specifications.
- Key Account Management: Act as the primary commercial contact for existing private sector partners, distributors, and key accounts to ensure long-term growth.
- Technical Sales Presentations: Deliver high-impact technical presentations and product demonstrations to utility engineers, consultants, and contractors, showcasing smart grid and SF6-free technologies.
- Tender & Bid Management: Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of complex technical and commercial proposals for utility tenders and private projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the in-house engineering design and manufacturing teams in Rayong to align customer requirements with production capabilities.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory shifts in the Thai and ASEAN power distribution sectors.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, provide accurate revenue forecasting, and manage CRM data to support strategic decision-making.
