Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ)
About the Role
Our client, an established international food and ingredient manufacturer, is looking for a certified Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ) to drive environmental health and safety (EHS) excellence across their manufacturing and logistics operations in Thailand. In this role, you will uphold local regulatory compliance and maintain international ISO 45001 standards across plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the statutory Professional Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ), managing all mandatory compliance reporting to the DLPW and relevant authorities.
- Maintain, audit, and improve the ISO 45001 OHS Management System across production, blending, laboratory, and warehouse facilities.
- Perform Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) across operational workflows.
- Lead plant safety inspections, conduct incident investigations using root-cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone), and execute corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans.
- Coordinate emergency response drills, manage chemical and SDS safety, and conduct staff safety training to promote a safety-first culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Certified Professional Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ) under Thai law.
- 2–4 years of plant-level EHS experience within food, beverage, FMCG, or process manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of Thai OSH legislation, the Factory Act, and hands-on ISO 45001 management systems.
- Strong Thai communication skills and good working proficiency in English for reporting and audits.
