About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global food manufacturing and logistics organization, seeking a proactive Safety Supervisor to serve as the appointed Professional Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ) for their operations in Thailand.
In this role, you will take full ownership of workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across production and warehousing operations, driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the legally appointed Professional Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ), ensuring strict compliance with Thai statutory regulations and managing official reporting.
- Lead the implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 (OH&S) and ISO 14001 (EMS) management systems.
- Conduct comprehensive Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA/JSA) across machinery, ergonomics, and material handling workflows.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations using structured root-cause analysis tools (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone) and oversee CAPA execution.
- Champion on-site safety culture, deliver HSE training, oversee Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, run emergency drills, and facilitate Safety Committee meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) with a valid Thai Safety Officer Certification at the Professional Level (จป.วิชาชีพ).
- 3 to 5 years of HSE experience within a manufacturing or warehousing environment (food, beverage, or FMCG preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Thai safety legislation along with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Solid technical proficiency in HIRA, JSA, PTW systems, and root-cause incident investigation methodologies.
- Strong communication skills in Thai, with conversational to professional working proficiency in English.
